![]() ![]() ![]() Ĭaptain Browne died October 31, 1699, aged seventy six years. On September 9, 1693, George adopted Hannah's youngest son Richard Hazen as sole heir to his large estate. Hannah, widow of Edward Hazen, was baptized at Cottingham, Yorkshire, England on October 16, 1631, daughter of Thomas and Jane (Haburne) Grant. He married second, March 17,1683/4 at Haverhill, widow Hannah (Grant) Hazen of Rowley. In John Eaton's will, dated Augand proved on April 13, 1669, he mentions among his heirs, daughter Brown and son George Browne. His wife Ann was baptized on September 14, 1623, at Hatton Co., Warwick, England, daughter of John Eaton and Ann (Unk) who came to New England by 1640. George married first Ann Eaton on June 25, 1645. 1676: June- August: Soldier in King Phillip's War under Captain Gilman.1665: George Brown voted to be Ensign.1651: September 22: George Brown appointed to lay out the highways with Daniel Hendrick.1646: He is listed as having settled in Haverhill.1645: June: Sold his house and land at Salisbury.1639: Came to New England with his widowed mother and brothers Henry and William.Widow Christian Browne came to New England with her three sons and was of Salisbury, Massachusetts in November,1639 when she received a land grant in the first division. His father George Brown died in England Novemleaving his widow and three sons Henry, William and George. Edmund's, Salisbury, Wiltshire, England, on September, 30, 1611. Edmund's, Wiltshire England on August 29, 1622, was the son of George Brown and Christian Hibbert who were married in the parish church of St. ![]() George Browne immigrated to New England as a child during the Puritan Great Migration (1621-1640). ![]()
